This 14 cm specimen is an aesthetic rarity and an absolute dream piece for any discerning collection. The specimen captivates with its phenomenal visual architecture and remarkable symmetry. The long, dominant main stibnite crystal is flanked by shorter crystals, lending the specimen an elegant, vertical dynamism. This composition is perfectly balanced by a creamy-yellow calcite collar that nestles botryoidally precisely in the center of the intergrowth. This matte, light contrast truly brings out the highly metallic, silvery mirror-like luster of the stibnite. The well-developed terminations themselves exhibit flawless quality, and the prisms show off with fine vertical striations typical of this locality.
The piece undoubtedly originates from one of the famous historical pockets of the Xikuangshan mine, from which no new supplies are currently being extracted.
