Fluorite on Matrix rock - Ojuela Mine, Durango, Mexico

Beautiful clear and sharply edged violet Fluorite on matrix. Breathtaking in this little vug.

 It glows red under UV which is rare with Fluorite and the find was called “the red pocket”. Other Fluorite from there show no or a blue reaction.
