Rarely encountered, yet documented from the classic silver locality of Kongsberg, Norway. Shown here are delicate mint-green fluorite octahedra nestled among small quartz crystals and additional pyrite crystals.
The fluorite occurs sparsely scattered across the specimen; crystals of this type are generally very small at Kongsberg. On this piece, however, they reach an exceptional size for the locality, measuring up to approximately 7 mm, which makes this specimen particularly noteworthy for advanced collectors.
