This is an exceptionally beautiful specimen, featuring larger quartz crystals and perfectly undamaged apple-green fluorite octahedra, all delicately coated with tiny quartz crystals like sparkling powdered snow or ice crystals.
It is easy to understand why pieces of this quality are so rare today, especially as classic quartz-fluorite combinations are highly sought after by collectors.
The Fluorite here is an isometric crystal that forms sharp octahedral habit, and quartz from these associations adds a wonderful contrast in luster and texture.
The specimen dates from the 1990s, and while the quartz could of course be removed from the fluorite octahedra, but I personally think the piece is perfect exactly as it is.
From a healing-stone perspective, green fluorite is often associated with cleansing, renewal, grounding, and mental clarity, which makes it a favorite stone for many collectors and crystal enthusiasts.
