Fantastic, twinned galena crystals from the classic locality of Wiemannsbucht mine, Bad Grund in the Harz Mountains, Germany.
These beautifully developed galena specimens represent an old German classic of great historical and mineralogical significance. Particularly noteworthy is the rare occurrence as a free-standing “floater” crystal, displaying sharp crystal forms and an aesthetic twin growth that is seldom seen from this locality.
