This sculptural, vuggy limonite gossan matrix originates from the legendary Broken Hill Mine (Kabwe) in Zambia, the famous Type Locality for the ultra-rare zinc phosphate, Tarbuttite.
The piece boasts an exceptionally rich coverage of gemmy, water-clear, and sparkling Tarbuttite crystals, ranging from colorless to a delicate pale blue. Adding to its intense display value, the Tarbuttite is accompanied by highly lustrous, beige-colored Hopeite crystals.
