A long-prismatic, highly lustrous tourmaline crystal. Brownish with a subtle shimmer, reminiscent in growth habit, color, and sheen of the Tanzanian dravites, yet representing a new find from the Erongo Mountains, Namibia. We are currently analyzing these tourmalines, as preliminary indications suggest they may represent a new dravite occurrence in the Erongo region.
