A spectacular mineral specimen in an almost perfect cabinet format from the legendary Tsumeb Mine in Namibia – one of the world’s most celebrated and mineralogically diverse localities.

The magnificent Azurite crystals alone are breathtaking. Reaching an impressive 3 cm in length, they display an intense, deep ink-blue colour, areas of fascinating translucency and exceptionally brilliant crystal faces. These outstanding Azurites would already make this specimen a remarkable prize for any serious mineral collection.

Yet the real sensation lies in its extraordinary accompanying mineralisation: Large, superbly developed, dark-green Tsumebite crystals form a mineralogically remarkable association with olive-green Arsenotsumebite crystals. Delicate Cerussite crystals occasionally complete this fascinating assemblage, while fine white Smithsonite coatings provide beautiful contrasting accents.

The striking combination of these rare phosphate and arsenate minerals with such magnificent Azurite crystals elevates this specimen into a particularly desirable category of Tsumeb collectibles. The interplay of intense colours, exceptional crystal habits and striking contrasts creates an almost breathtaking natural composition.

An exquisite collector’s specimen from Tsumeb, distinguished by its rare mineral association and outstanding aesthetic appeal. A truly impressive piece that stands in a class of its own!
